Re-Connect Workshop:
Healing Movements to De-Stress
The busyness of modern life doesn’t lend itself to slowing down and connecting with the nuanced senses of our body and mind. We often feel stressed, stuck, and lose our sense of presence, both physically and mentally. This results in less connection with ourselves and others, when connection is actually what we need the most in times of overwhelm.
In this workshop, you will reclaim your inner space to unwind and feel free, grounded, and more present.
This exploration happens through gentle, specific movements based on early development that release tension and regulate our nervous system. This workshop is open to anyone willing to support their health and well-being; there is no prior experience or fitness level required.

How It Works
You will bring your attention inward, quiet your mind, listen to your body, and reconnect to yourself. This mindfulness-based approach uses therapeutic movements and guided meditation to enhance your overall well-being.
The results will include an increased body awareness, reduced pain and tension, and a deeper sense of calm and connection with yourself. No previous experience or skill level is required; the beauty of this practice lies in the fact that everyone begins at their own unique point, allowing for personal improvement and self-discovery.
You will lie on a mat and follow verbal instructions throughout the session. The movements are very slow and gentle, requiring your brain to engage more than your muscles. We will take a few breaks during which participants can share their experiences and ask questions.
What to bring:
- A mat. A thick one is better, or two thin ones if you have, we just want you to be very comfortable :)
- A notebook/journal and a pen
- Extra layers of clothing (you will not get warmed up by the movements)

Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states.

Your classes and workshops are always great, and this has so much to do with you and the way you teach. It’s a gift that you have.
There is no sense of tension or expectation, I don’t feel any fear and so my body can go into a natural state easily.
You’re facilitating this very natural process and you are doing it beautifully, thank you.

Your workshops are a touchstone in my personal development journey. They allow me to slow down, be grounded, and focus on myself. Your presence is so calming and supportive, and I have learned so much - not only about my body, but also how I view myself and think in general.
It's like movement for personal growth!

I am a building contractor with a history of chronic back pain. Learning the Feldenkrais Method from Francine has enabled me to manage my pain and eliminate my daily reliance on painkillers. My results are always positive, immediate, and measurable.
As a teacher, Francine is calm, clear, and a pleasure to follow. I look forward to attending her classes each time and learning something new.
