These audio recordings are from my Awareness Through Movement classes, by the Feldenkrais Method®. You will need a mat or blanket to lie on the floor, loose, comfortable clothes, and a quiet space. If the title of the recording says In Sitting, then you will need a chair and will sit forward (not leaning against the back of the chair).
The movements are intended to be very slow and gentle. There is no pushing, pulling, or stretching; these exercises are meant to develop your awareness of yourself and engage your brain and nervous system, not your muscles.
If you experience any discomfort, please slow down, pause, and check in with your breathing (breathe intentionally, letting your belly expand as you inhale and do a slow exhale). Resume if it feels right, skip the movement if it does not.
