Writing as a way to

Thank you for purchasing one of my handmade art journals!

Each journal is original and unique and may include 100-year-old French paper, homemade eco prints, X-ray films, lined paper from my middle school in France, coffee and tea-dyed papers, old book pages, and many more beautiful treasures I have collected over the years.

Two main themes have been steady companions on my life journey, and I know they resonate with many people: Home and Voice.

Both relate to a multi-layered process of knowing ourselves, to symbols, experiences and dreams that have roots inside and outside of ourselves. One way I like to explore these topics is through my art journals by writing words, tracing lines, finding meaning in images, and doodling.

Each time you open your art journal, you reclaim a part of yourself.
